I am what some call a 'Renaissance Artist'. What it means is that I dabble in pretty much all artistic things out there - from painting and music to sewing and sculpting. I love beautiful things, taking much of my inspiration from the 19th century.
In this blog you'll read my thoughts, things I'm happy about or that troubles me, the projects I start up now and then. It isn't supposed to be a rant-blog though, so I will try keep the 'boring' stuff at a minimum.
A little about me then... Well, I'm 27 years old, and one of my biggest passions is the Lolita fashion. I design and sew pretty much all my clothes, and I've been doing so since I was about 17. The last 3-4 years I have pretty much put all 'modern' clothes aside in favor of Lolita, so I very rarely wear anything else.
I collect tea cups with pretty prints, as well as home decorations with princess crowns or Victorian themes. I also collect porcelain dolls - and soft toys which tend to overflow the bed...
My favourite music is classic, I do listen a lot to the old masters such as Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss. I've played violin since I was 8 (though there were a few years I didn't practice a lot...) and went to music school.
My profession is Comic Artist, but I have mainly held coarses and lectures in it rather than published any comics yet. I have lots of half finished works, but I'm easily swayed by books and comics I read so I have the bad habot of starting something new rather than finishing the old one. When I draw, it's usually clothes, manga-inspired or realism. I rarely draw super-deformed characters.
I value honesty, sincerity, emotional strength and kindness as personal traits and despise people who try to be someone they're not.
